Why Tough Love is more than just a workout.

After experiencing a hip injury, I was reluctant to work out.  As the months went by, it seemed that I just continued to be in more pain.  Linda's expertise and motivation brought me to her class.  I now feel like I am regaining my strength and health.  At 60, it is nice to know that its never too late to get more fit.  I love Tough Love Fitness!

Linda’s Pandemic Pilates was a life saver during this crazy time of gym lockdowns and social distancing. I love the simplicity of her program - no shoes required, no driving required, and no judgements! I love the modifications she recommends especially if you don’t have the tools available. It’s so easy to log on and do a one hour workout. I’ve never been so consistent in my weekly workout until Linda’s online program. I highly recommend her classes and will continue to attend as much as I can.

Love taking Linda’s classes! I have been going to her Monday and Wednesday classes for many years now.  I have also taken her Barre and Yoga beach classes.  I wouldn’t be able to reach my fitness goals without including Pilates in my weekly routine.   It has improved my core, posture, flexibility, and balance.  In addition to the body weight resistance, Linda adds dumbbells and bands to her workouts.

She is very helpful and she makes sure you have the right form by providing constant guidance and tips.  I would highly recommend Linda’s classes to anyone.

I love waking up on Sunday mornings to take Linda’s 8am yoga class. It’s my quiet time to reflect and stretch and Linda’s attention to any aches or pains along with her silly humor and positive energy makes it an even better practice.

I stumbled upon Linda's class about 3 years ago and I am so glad I did! I was a total newbie, never having taken a Pilates or Yoga class, and it was a love-hate relationship at first since I was using muscles I haven't really used before! :)  I have seen improvements in my physique and fitness since I've started. I feel and look physically in shape and stronger, my core is stronger, and I am more flexible and can do more exercises than I could before Pilates. 

Linda knows her stuff! She'll guide you through all the moves and positions and even has modifications if you're not quite there yet or have issues. She is also very patient and understanding and genuinely cares about your wellbeing and improvement. 

If you are considering a Pilates class, definitely try Linda first! Thank you, Linda!!

Attending Linda's class was one of the best decisions I ever made.  She is a great instructor, very positive and will help you the best she can.! I have been following Linda for about 2 years now.  The reason why I decided to follow Linda was because after having 3 kids, my body didn't look as flattering like before.  So, I tried Linda's class to help me and it worked. The classes were a bit hard at first but as I started taking a few more classes, I became to love it. Linda's classes consist of Yoga, Pilates and Barre. Each of these classes have helped me and it helped me improve my balance and toned my body.  Whenever I have a day off at work,, I would take that time to go to Linda's classes. Fast forward to the present, I am still taking Linda's classes and I love it.

I have been enjoying Linda's Cardio Barre class for over 5 years. Recently I began working with a pair of personal trainers to help me expand my activity and improve my overall fitness. They suggested that the ideal profile for an hour-long workout has me spending most of the time in the lower ranges of my heart rate, with a smaller percentage devoted to higher-intensity work. Today I monitored my work in Linda's class with my fitness watch, and lo and behold, her workout fit this profile exactly. I was doing the right thing all along, as was she!
